  • Your refund request is made within 30 days of your purchase date
  • You purchased directly from our website or authorized distribution channels

How to Request a Refund

  1. Send a refund request via GitHub Issues or email us directly
  2. Include your order number or the email address used during purchase
  3. We'll process your refund within 5-7 business days
  4. The refund will be credited back to your original payment method

After the Refund

  • Your license key will be deactivated
  • You will lose access to the paid features of OctoGrab
  • Any data already extracted remains yours — it's stored locally on your device

Non-Refundable Situations

While we aim to be flexible, refunds may not be granted in the following cases:

  • The refund request is made more than 30 days after purchase
  • The license was obtained through unauthorized means
  • The account has been terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service

Website Changes and Compatibility

Web scraping relies on the structure of third-party websites. Websites frequently update their layouts, which may cause existing blueprints to require adjustments. This is a fundamental aspect of web scraping and is not considered a defect eligible for refund outside the 30-day window.

However, if a core feature of OctoGrab is broken and we cannot fix it within a reasonable timeframe, we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis regardless of the purchase date.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We're happy to resolve any issues directly. Unjustified chargebacks may result in license termination.
